Congratulations, you’re a graduate! I vote we celebrate. What’s a better way to acknowledge your achievement (and keep your mother happy) than timeless photos? I promise, you’ll want to remember this!
There are so many people that helped you get here, some of which are walking the stage with you. Feel free to bring them along! Cap and gown sessions are best shot in groups; the more graduates the better! Not only will you be spending some well-deserved time with the crew, we’ll capture some final memories that’ll last a lifetime.
Obviously, bringing your cap and gown to your graduation session is a must. But what else screams “I’m a graduate?” Men, you’ll look spiffy in a button-down shirt and slacks. Don’t forget to the dress shoes! Ladies, opt for a dress or matching set, specifically white (Fun Fact: women wear white at graduation ceremonies to represent a connection to suffragettes). Not to mention, white will match any school color perfectly!
You’ve spent the last four years surrounded in textbooks and your laptop (and possibly beer cans), which also double as great props. Bring some things to hold while you pose! After all, we are representing college culture. A favorite shot of mine is popping champagne (and drinking out of the bottle, of course). You won’t need anything fancy; the $6 bottle will do.
I know you’ve already spent so much time on campus, but let’s stop by just once more! Your college campus is the perfect location for your graduation session. Think of your most memorable spots. Was it the quad? The science building? Maybe the front steps of the library? No matter where choose, it’ll be easy to capture you in your element.
Yay! You did it! I’m so proud of you. Now get out there, you’re ready to take on the next chapter of life. The best is yet to come!
