Amanda and Matt had the most beautiful late summer wedding at The Wilder Room in Rochester, NY! Their wedding day was filled with family and friends, stunning florals, and timeless moments they will be able to look back on for a lifetime. I am so thankful to work with such amazing clients like these two. Anyways, let’s get to the good stuff!
Getting ready for ‘I do’
Matt and Amanda got ready at different locations on the day of their wedding. I started the day photographing Matt’s getting ready at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Rochester. Matt was surrounded by friends and family during the getting ready portion of the day, and I had so much fun hanging out with them as we anticipated the rest of what the day would bring!
Before I headed over to Amanda’s getting ready location, the crew shared some drinks on the balcony and played some pool. This suite was the perfect spot for their getting ready photos!

Amanda got ready in the bridal suite at The Wilder Room. There are so many fun spots to take photos in this venue, and I loved getting creative with the detail photos!

Amanda and Matt’s wedding at the Wilder room was stunning from start to finish. With that being said, the magic was all in the details. Their stunning floral design from Moonrise Floral Design was incredible and brought the whole vision to life! Amanda’s bouquet was a key feature in her getting ready detail photos.
First look and private vows with Amanda and Matt
Amanda and Matt decided to do a private vow reading at their first look on their wedding day. This moment was so intimate and it was truly such an honor to witness. This wedding at the Wilder Room was on busy East Ave in downtown Rochester, but you’d never know based on these serene photos from their first look.

Bridal Party Photos at Memorial Art Gallery
After the first look, Amanda and Matt rounded up their crew and we headed over to the Memorial Art Gallery to take their bridal party photos. I am obsessed with the bridesmaid dresses and mixed textures! Their bridal party really braved the bright sun for the photos on the steps, but WOW was it worth it!
Mr. & Mrs. Noll: Portraits for the Wall
After we finished up bridal party photos, we finally got to take some photos of the newlyweds! The Memorial Art Gallery was the perfect place to take the portraits Matt and Amanda can hang on the walls of their home.
We wandered the grounds of the MAG and had so many amazing places to take photos.
Wedding at The Wilder Room: Ceremoniously, Mr. & Mrs. Noll!
It’s finally time for Matt and Amanda to say ‘I do!’ These two had the most beautiful ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family. They conveniently hosted their ceremony right within the Wilder Room’s reception area. The staff flips the room during cocktail hour and then you’re able to dance the night away in that space!
Anyways, one of my favorite details from Amanda and Matt’s wedding day was their floor floral installation they had from Moonrise Floral Design. Their ceremony design was then repurposed for their sweetheart table and it was truly one of the most stunning designs I’ve seen – and definitely one of the most memorable!
Sunset Photos From the Noll’s Wedding at The Wilder Room
Not only did we have the best weather all day long, but we even had a great sunset! Even with this venue being in the heart of downtown Rochester, there are plenty of spots to get sunset photos near The Wilder Room. I loved getting another chance to take some portraits of these two and explore downtown together.

After sunset photos, it was time to party! These two were tearing up the dance floor and I had so much fun capturing it all. These two really had the most beautiful reception in this stunning Rochester wedding venue!
Did you know I offer highlight films?
Yes, you read that right! I know videography isn’t in the budget for all couples. I love being able to offer smaller highlight film packages so my couples can have a snippet of their day on video. Check out Amanda and Matt’s highlight film below!

Shauna and her team were amazing! They made everyone feel so comfortable throughout the entire day. We were a little behind schedule when Shauna arrived. She was able to get us back on track and managed to get all the pictures we wanted without feeling rushed. She was very receptive to any ideas we had for photos. We are beyond thrilled with how the final product came out along with our highlight reel. We were really impressed with her turnaround time as well! It was super convenient to bundle the highlight style videography service along with the photo package. Leading up to the big day, Shauna offered so much more than just photography and videography services. She was there for any questions we had and gave us many suggestions for other vendors. We can’t recommend Shauna and her team enough! We will treasure her amazing photos for a lifetime!
