Lindsay and Samir’s Spring Engagement Session
As some of you may know, I grew up on the west side of Rochester, NY. So, when Lindsay and Samir decided on Sara’s Garden for their spring engagement session, I was so excited to be back on my old stomping grounds! Sara’s Garden holds a special place in my heart as it was always the location I took seniors when I first started taking clients. Since then, my photography has grown and improved a lot. It felt so good to return to Sara’s Garden and do this place justice!
He Put a Ring on It
In the famous words of Beyonce, he liked it so he put a ring on it. Lindsay’s ring has such a traditional feel, but with a modern twist (literally… she has a twisted band). I always include a ring shot in engagement sessions and to match the vibe, I used the world’s most classic flower: a red rose. After all, they’re both symbols of eternal love! And, of course, we need to show off Samir’s great work.
A Color Coordinated Spring Engagement Session
Lindsay and Samir must have scouted out Sara’s Garden before their spring engagement session because they matched perfectly with their surroundings! Lindsay’s red dress was the perfect accent to the red pottery and florals. Samir’s classic white button down and khakis complemented Lindsay so well. Keep scrolling, their next outfits matched perfectly, too! Take notes, people!
A Spring Engagement Session for Lovers
If you could only witness the way Lindsay and Samir look at each other, you’d understand just how in love these two are! I love when couples are touchy and affectionate during their session. I always remind them that they’ll look back on these photos one day and remember the way their love story began!
