There is something so special about the relationship between mother and daughter. From the beginning of a daughter’s life, she is connected to her mother. As time passes, distance and growing up changes the mother-daughter relationship, but don’t worry, Kelly and her mom are the perfect example that the love and bond between mother and daughter will never fade. Life is Like A Deck of Cards
Life is like a deck of cards, you must be the queen of hearts. These two queens share a passion for card games and spending time with each other! Kelly was so creative when requesting these photos as part of her mother and daughter session. What a great way to celebrate quality bonding time! Next time I get the opportunity to do a family lifestyle shoot, especially when I shoot in a family home and not at my studio, Gallery 48, I’ll be sure to incorporate activities that bring people together. It’s a perfect way to share the natural and effortless love between mother and daughter.

Love You Forever
One of my favorite books as a child was “I’ll Love You Forever” by Robert Munsch. My own mother used to read it to me routinely. It has a quote that means the world to me: “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.” If I could use one sentence to describe the vibes from this session, that would be it. Thank you to Kelly and her mother for allowing me to capture your love and happiness in it’s purest form. I cannot wait to recreate this session with my own mom!
