Canandaigua Country Club Wedding | Colin & Jackie
Colin and Jackie’s Canandaigua Country Club wedding was the perfect early summer celebration! These two met through a common career: they’re both realtors. Colin met Jackie when he sold her her first home. And the rest is history! Colin and Jackie found me through their wedding planner, Eliza of Eliza Jane Events. Hometown Marriage
Colin and Jackie both grew up in the Finger Lakes region, so when visiting venues, they wanted a location that commemorated their hometowns. After some looking around, Colin and Jackie chose The Fallbrook House on Canandaigua Lake, a Canandaigua Country Club venue, for their dream wedding day. Colin and Jackie started their magical day at separate AirBnBs on Canadaigua Lake. Jackie’s bridesmaids wore different shades of purple in different styles. I love the “matching but different” look!
Forever and For Always
Colin and Jackie chose to skip the first look and save the surprise for the altar. Photographers love tears, and let me tell you, Colin sure delivered! Don’t worry Colin, Jackie made me cry too. She looked absolutely breathtaking! This Canandaigua Country Club wedding ceremony was so intimate and romantic. Colin and Jackie’s love was heard and felt by all, they’re truly meant for each other!
The Bridal Bunch
Blue and purple are a color match made in heaven! I have yet to find a unique color match that I absolutely love, but this might be it. We’ve already celebrated Jackie’s “matching but different” bridesmaids, now it’s time to take a look at the guys! Colin’s groomsmen wore muted blue suits with matching purple ties. The whole group aced the GQ swag walk, too!

Speaking of Colin and Jackie’s love for color, they chose pink accent napkins for their Canandaigua Country Club wedding reception tables, and it looks amazing! Plus, can we talk about these dog-themed accents?! Hank, Colin and Jackie’s French Bulldog, was featured on drink stirrers and napkins. I was lucky enough to meet him at Colin and Jackie’s Christmas mini session at Gallery 48. After meeting (and loving) him, trust me, the Hank hype is justified!
Sail Away with Me
While Jackie and Colin were soaking up the sunset, a kind stranger on her way to Canandaigua Country Club’s dining room offered her boat for some photos on the lake! We set Colin and Jackie up on the back facing off into the distance and got some super romantic shots. I always think about capturing photos during a wedding day that will bring back stories and memories for the happy couple. This good samaritan surprise was a perfect way to celebrate this Canandaigua Country Club wedding!
A Moment for the Flowers
Moonrise Floral Design is one of my favorite florists! Her work is so recognizable and never disappoints. The florals created for Colin and Jackie’s Canandaigua Country Club wedding had the perfect touch of various shades of purple. Meggan’s florals are always so fresh and bright, perfect for dreamy photos!
Drop it Like it’s Hot!
Colin and Jackie’s guests were the ideal wedding guests: down to party! Jackie’s father-daughter dance and Colin’s dances with his two aunts brought tears to guests’ eyes, but those tears were quickly wiped when the beat dropped. Jackie brought her trendy white sunglasses, which became a fan favorite! Colin and Jackie truly know how to drop it like it’s hot!
