If you’re going for that classic, elegant wedding vibe, look no further. The answer to achieving your goal is a mansion wedding. Specifically, an Avanti Mansion wedding. This venue, located in Buffalo, NY, is the perfect blend of aristocracy meets modern-day. What was once a family summer home is now the home to an elegant event space. Both the indoor reception space and the outdoor ceremony space are unforgettable!
Carly and Alex carried their mantra of elegancy throughout every last detail of their mansion wedding. Carly’s dress was timeless (not to mention absolutely stunning)! She brought in family heirlooms, including a Buffalo Bills bracelet and a memorial photo of her father to tuck in her bouquet. Alex accessorized with a fun patterned tie, cufflinks, and a classic leather-band watch.
Carly and Alex’s first look was so sweet. I absolutely adore their big smiles! Carly was over-the-moon to see her future husband before they meet at the aisle. After a few tears and some hugs, Carly and Alex welcomed in their dog for a family photo. And, of course, he was dressed to the nines!
Carly and Alex love each other to the end zone and back, specifically the end zone where the Buffalo Bills score. It wouldn’t be Buffalo wedding without the Bills Mafia. We stopped by Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY to capture some action shots. We all know I love a “tunnel” shot with the bride and groom, but pretending they’re running out on the field to thousands of screaming fans makes it a bit more exciting!
You may have noticed the Behr’s accent color: purple. They added a few shades into bridesmaid dresses, florals, and even their mansion wedding ceremony signs. With the recent release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), I can’t help but correlate T. Swift’s groundbreaking love songs with this wedding. The combination of shades of purple and a mansion wedding, reminds me of the Love Story music video. Alex is Romeo and Carly is Juliet, and this day is their perfect love story.
After Carly and Alex’s romantic ceremony, it was time to party! In the infamous words of Taylor Swift, this night was sparkling, literally. These two shared a grand exit with sparklers (and kisses) surrounded in friends and family cheering them on, the best way to end their mansion wedding!
