Emma’s senior session was unlike any other I’ve done before. She had so many ideas for locations and outfits, we couldn’t choose just one! So, we teamed up and brainstormed an idea; a custom package was the clear way to make all her senior photo dreams come true! We shot in three separate locations with multiple outfits for each location. Emma is a farmer’s daughter, so we started off at the most fitting location: a wheat field. If wheat field senior photos have no fans, then I am dead. If you’re not considering a field or meadow for your senior session, these photos will convince you. Seriously, I can’t dream of a better spot for warm and glowy photos.
Although Emma comes from a family filled with wide open spaces, she’s a bit of a city girl at heart. For Emma’s second location, we stayed local and headed to downtown Rochester, NY. Senior photos represent graduation from childhood to adulthood. When looking back, hometown sessions can bring a sense of nostalgia after much time has passed. One day, Emma will look back at these photos and reminisce on her youth. These photos show off just how grown up Emma has become!
For the third section of Emma’s senior photos, we headed back to the country for some shots by the water’s edge. I was obsessed with the blue dress she chose for this location: so dreamy! It’s giving Taylor Swift’s debut album cover (if you know, you know). I thought she was going to bring a guitar and serenade “Tim McGraw” to me. She didn’t, but I’m sure I’ll recover. She did, however, commit to the photo. Emma had no hesitation to splash around in the water and even did some parkour for these shots!
After spending lots of time with Emma to complete this custom package, I am reminded why I love shooting senior photos. Emma is so kind, creative, and smart. She makes me proud of generations to follow! I have to give a big thanks to Emma for having a vision and trusting me to make it happen! Good luck, Emma, you have a bright future!
