Brenna and Nick had the perfect day in May for their Rochester wedding! Their wedding was my first wedding of the 2021 season for me, and it was such an amazing way to kick off busy season!
Let’s start with some detail photos, because who doesn’t love a good ring shot?!
Brenna’s engagement ring and wedding band are so unique and I love how well they complimented her wedding details.
“Shauna is amazing! Picking a wedding photographer was one of the easiest parts of our wedding planning process because we absolutely fell in love with Shauna after our first meeting with her. She completely puts you at ease on the day of and is willing to go above and beyond for her clients and makes you feel like family. Shauna will now be apart of our lives forever and we are looking forward to having her capture all of the important life updates that happen!”
-Brenna & Nick
This was my first time shooting at Westminster and I was so impressed with the venue! Tucked away in the heart of Mendon, the facility sits on a beautiful lot and has lots of character. I love how the chapel and the reception area are completely separate, but you wouldn’t know it when you are just pulling in. The chapel is beautiful and intimate, and was perfect for Brenna and Nick’s family. The reception area is an incredible place for a party! There was lots of room for guests and dancing, and having the balcony made for super interesting photos. The wedding planner Angela is the sweetest and was super efficient at keeping the event on schedule.
It made so much sense for Brenna and Nick to do a first look, and I think everyone was so happy they did! While they did have a private moment to chat with each other, it was so touching to see how the families were so emotional during this moment. After a few minutes of admiring how dapper they both looked on their wedding day, Brenna and Nick were ready for photos with their bridal parties! I love doing fun photos and a few smiling at the camera so everyone has something they’ll cherish.
Brenna and Nick’s chapel ceremony was beautiful and so special! They had a sand pouring union ceremony which is always super sweet and symbolic.
There was so many moments to love from this wedding, but the parent dances had us all in our feels! This reception was so full of love and it’s so nice to be able to feel that through the photos!
Thank you to the Colucci’s for having me photograph such an amazing day. These two continually support my business and I am so happy to be the one to capture all of your special moment together! Here’s some pretty portraits of these lovebirds!
